I stole this from a friends blog this morning. She was my Relief Society President in Arizona and she is a writer for the Beehive news paper in Mesa. She is a fun writer and I really enjoy her posts.
I wonder what would happen if we treated our Scriptures like we treat our cell phones?
What if we carried them around in our purses or pockets?
What if we turned back to get them if we forgot them?
What if we flipped through them several times a day?
What if we used them to receive messages?
What if we treated them like we couldn't live without them?
What if we gave them to kids as gifts?
What if we used them as we traveled?
What if we used them in case of an emergency?
This is something to make you go hmm... where are my Scriptures?

How ya feelin'?
Ah Man! I meant THAT not HAT. :)
cute, and very true.
I have always had a hard time making a keeping resolutions for the new year but I think you just gave me a reason to keep one. I hope to be able to put my scriptures at the level as some of the more unimportant things in my life that we seem to be able not to live without. Thanks!!
I am definitely inspired! :0)
Wow thats definitely something to make you think! Its a good reminder to re-evaluate our priorities in life

THAT IS the most eye-opening, sound advice I've ever heard!
Wouldn't work for me. I don't know where my phone is. However, my scriptures are where the missionaries left them teaching Randy. I lose everything right now... Are you surprised? Now, have you seen my computer?
BTW, seriously....I saw some baby scriptures that are used for service men. I think I'd like those for my purse. I need glasses for the big scriptures--anyway!
Please note this and tell your dad, so I can get some for Valentine's Day instead of flowers that die.
Think how much you can read them while waiting for appointments, the kids, I mean Does in labor and the kids take a long time. lol I love you. Mom
That is a good reminder. Thanks, I need that.
I will say that I do have my scriptures on my cellphone. It great when Drew's mom had questions for me.
Very clever and so true. What that from Janae?
